An Update from Dario Christian Academy

We graduated our first high school class!!!! It was a beautiful thing to see these kids get their diplomas. Each of our graduates has quite a story and has struggled in various aspects of their lives. 

There are times that as a school director, Julio and I felt like we were constantly lecturing and dealing with discipline issues with the kids and wondered if it ever really made a difference. We had set up a campfire night to say good bye to these great graduating seniors and not a single one of them left with dry eyes, and neither did we. Now it fills our hearts as they come over to our home often asking for advice in different areas or just to spend time together. So they DO know that we love them and care!

The Lord allowed us to see many of our goals accomplished in academics and getting a building grant approved for the roofing of a concrete slab that will be labs and classrooms someday. This grant is a TON of work and has kept Julio really busy the last few months, but we are excited to see it finished in a few months, we hope.
