Send a Letter to Your Student!

Children at Dario Christian Academy love to hear from their sponsors!  This is a great way to build a relationship and let your student know that you care about them and are praying for them.  Your letter does not need to be long – one page letters are best.  If you have someone who can translate your letter into Spanish, that would be wonderful, but don’t let that stop you from writing!  We will do everything we can to help with the translation.

 Here are some suggestions:

  • Tell the student about yourself and your family.
  • Be sensitive to the fact that we have many materials blessings and opportunities in America that they will never have.
  • Consider the child’s environment and culture.
  • Ask your child about his or her family, i.e., names and ages of siblings and their grade in school
  • Ask about favorite subjects, activities, interests, colors, foods, friends, and responsibilities.
  • Include a photo of yourself – these children love to see your face.
  • Sign the letter with your first names only – do not include your last name or your own children’s last names (i.e., Mr.  John and Mrs. Mary).

Mail your letter to this address and we will forward it to the student in care of Dario Christian Academy:
